Dead Space Extraction was released in 2009 on the Nintendo Wii, and it showcased that a mature horror title with motion controls was possible on Nintendo’s new platform. Additionally, it was later included with the release of Dead Space 2 Limited Edition for the PS3 in 2011, and featured support for PlayStation Move.’
The game is plays as a rail shooter with similar weapons and features found it the original Dead Space. You start off as Sam Caldwell, a miner from the U.S.S. Ishimura, working on Aegis VII and readying the Red Marker for extraction. The game is set as a prequel to the first Deadspace, and is essentially the beginning of the franchise.
