Lollipop Chainsaw for the PlayStation 3 goes in the opposite direction of most horror video games. Instead of a serious, horrifying experience, it aims for a campy, lighthearted tone. When a zombie outbreak occurs in San Romero, high school cheerleader Juliet Starling is caught in the middle. When a zombie bites her boyfriend, Juliet reveals her secret identity as a zombie hunter. She saves Nick, but unfortunately, only as a disembodied talking head. Together, Juliet, Nick, and Juliet’s chainsaw must carve a path through the zombies and bring peace back to the city. The story was written by James Gunn, who wrote and directed Guardians of the Galaxy. Lollipop Chainsaw was developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
