I’ve been looking for a way to improve our Internet situation here at Riverwood House (Aka FoG Manor), but ultimately increasing speeds is not an option. The next best idea was to maximize the connection that we have and better the connectivity to our devices. The standard WiFi router from our service provider wouldn’t cut it since we have two building, and a nice stone fireplace between them. This is where Mesh Networking came in. Mesh Network WiFi solutions provide a single SSID over all devices, and they usually come in pack of 3 to cover 3000 – 6000 square feet. Most run around $200 – $300+, but I was looking for something sub $200. I found MeshForce M1 and through I’d unbox it for you, and follow it up with a review after a few days of use.
Let me know in the comments if you have a Mesh Network at your house, and if you like it. I’d like to find out if there is a big difference between the devices.
Enjoy!
